Maximum soil rate allowed is 14 fluid ounces per acre per year. PHI for soil applications is 30 days. Drip-applied imidacloprid should not be used when vines are also under water stress (regulated deficit irrigation) as the product will not be taken up by the plant.

For grape mealybug, there is suspected resistance to insecticides with an MOA (IRAC) of 4A. Use a pesticide in a different IRAC group if control efficacy is reduced, or if you have routinely relied on insecticides with an MOA of 4A in the past.
