State and federal regulations prohibit application of any pesticide through an irrigation system unless the label specifically allows this means of application.
Backflow prevention devices, automatic check valves, and interlocking controls are required on all systems used for chemigation.
Any person calibrating, loading, starting up, monitoring during application, or shutting down the system must be, or be supervised by, a certified applicator.
